CHILDREN'S HOME

We may not be able to change the world, but we can make a difference in the life of one child.  GFI currently operates two New Hope Children’s Home orphanages – one in Kerala and one in Orissa.In Kerala, Gospel For India has adopted 40 tsunami orphans since March 2005, and is building a facility for accommodating 100 orphans and planning to adopt many more suffering and underprivileged children in near future as Lord strengthens us.In Orissa, Gospel For India started an orphanage with 65 children soon after the persecution in 2008. Children were left behind as orphans as their parents were killed by Hindu fanatics. Because of the urgency without any basic facilities, in a temporary muddy hall we accommodated these children, and since then we have been praying to buy a piece of land near a developed area where they can get basic facilities and go to school, market, and hospital, etc. By the grace of God we were able to purchase a piece of land near Rayagada City, to build a care center for 100 children. With the help of donations we have built a children’s homes for boys and girls.

To that one child, it might mean fresh water, 3 good meals a day, the opportunity to learn how to read and write or something as simple as a safe place to play. Our world just might be a better place tomorrow because of the difference YOU choose to make today.
