One of the effective evangelistic methodology adopted by Gospel for India to impact the people of India with the gospel of Jesus Christ, is to plant new Churches through out the unreached areas in the country. As the number of disciples multiplies by the spreading of gospel, it is necessary to establish spiritually vibrant and dynamically reproducing churches located in strategically important places.
The purpose of this ministry by Gospel for India is to reach new generations and new people groups with the Word of God and establish congregations with strong traditional values with Biblical foundation. These new churches are also a field to surface efficient and strong spiritual leaders with deep gospel orientation.
It is with this vision that Gospel for India has trained and sent out 725 native missionaries in various parts of India and planted about 200 churches plus over 700 home groups, (which is the first stage of establishing a new church)
GFI adopts a very practical and effective methodology for spreading the Gospel and planting Churches. Winning souls for Christ by reflecting the love and care showed by Jesus proves to be an effective and successful strategy for Gospel for India over the past years.
GFI has trained and placed over 725 missionaries in different parts of the country for the sole purpose of reaching the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of these missionaries, though struggling for their basic needs, travel 15 to 20 miles daily to share the Gospel with Villagers.
GFI conducts several open air meetings, public conventions and crusades to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, in both cities and villages in different parts of India.
GFI also has several humanitarian works, such as orphanages/children's homes in Kerala and Orissa and ministries to leprosy victims and vocational training centers for poor and needy women, training them to sew so they can provide for their families and help their communities. Through the love of God reflected in these activities, many of them are introduced to the Gospel. You can learn more about these ministries in the web pages for ‘Children’s Home‘, ‘Vocational training‘ and ‘Leprosy Ministries‘ in this website.
